Daniel Uribe joined the board in August 2011. Dan is a graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Hotel Administration and a concentration in security analysis. He has been an active volunteer for many ATBF events and has worked as an ambassador to our organization to potential donors and corporations.
In July 1995, Dan’s father, Jose, sustained a spinal cord injury as a result of an automobile accident that left him paralyzed from the chest down. Shortly after, Fran Brown reached out to the Uribe Family. Dan’s familiarity with the Foundation and his strong sense of “giving back” to ATBF spurred his desire to become involved and have his friends and business associates dedicate their energy to this meaningful cause. He recently re-organized ATBF’s Junior Board of Directors and is in the process of hosting their inaugural fundraiser on September 13, 2012 at the Bowery Hotel in New York City. Dan works at Signpost Capital Advisors, LLC in New York City. He is an MBA Graduate of Columbia Business School.
