TEAM RUNNING FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T
Im Ethan Stein and I am so excited to be spearheading the Alan T Brown Foundation Team Running for Those Who Cant in the 2011 ING New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 6, 2011. I met Fran Brown in 2006 at an ATBF Fundraiser and I have since been extremely close to the Foundation; volunteering at events and helping out in the office whenever I could.
This past March I ran in the Jerusalem Half Marathon in place of an injured friend. Without training, I miraculously crossed the finish line. Full of excitement and very enthusiastic to build on that success, I immediately emailed Fran saying sign me up for the NYC Marathon -- I will finish it for the Foundation and in honor of those who cant run
no matter what it takes! So, as promised, that is what I plan on doing!
This year ATBF has secured 20 spots in the New York City Marathon as part of the Official Charity Program at the Bronze Level. Over 45,000 people participate in the Marathon, but many only dream of running because of the limited amount of available spots selected through a lottery system.
The lottery is now closed and if you want to run, you are in luck!
ATBF is offering available spots, but you must act fast as we fill up quickly. By signing up with us, you will have a guaranteed entry, conquer 26.2 miles, and have a blast while helping to raise money for this remarkable cause!
I am looking forward to having you join me and Team ATBF.
See you at the Finish Line!
