The Alan T Brown Foundation will be organizing a Junior Board of Directors
and is seeking prospective members!
The Junior Board is a volunteer council of young professionals that promotes and advocates on behalf of the ATBF through fundraising and volunteer initiatives and helps attract new friends to the organization. Prospective committee members should have a broad network to help spread word of our cause and be eager, enthusiastic, and motivated to join!
Each member is expected to volunteer at two ATBF events each year. Additionally, the Junior Board will be responsible for organizing and running an Annual Junior Board Event.
All members are encouraged to volunteer at our Annual Family Fun Day that will be held on February 5, 2012 from 12:00pm-3:00pm at the 69th Regiment Armory located at 68 Lexington Avenue between 25th and 26th Streets in NYC. This is an opportunity to become acquainted with our supporters and attendees and see the scope of ATBF's work.
Proceeds raised in conjunction with the Junior Board will be directed toward ATBF's Outreach & Peer Mentoring Program and our sponsored Health & Fitness Program at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
