ATBF

forces
to raise funds to help Michael with
his transition from the hospital to

Thank
you to all those who have supported

On
March 16, 2009, Michael Kranis, husband
to Tamie, and father to Genna, Lauren and
Ian, had a sheared aorta. This is similar
to an aortic aneurysm. As a result of
this incident, Michael sustained a spinal
cord injury which has left him paralyzed
from the chest down. Michael is currently
at Mt. Sinai Rehabilitation Center in NYC.
We are thankful that Michael is alive, suffered
no brain injury and is still very much himself.

A fund has been established through ATBF
to assist the Kranis family with the many
expenses related to Michael's care, such
as:
- uncovered medical and therapeutic costs

- medical equipment
- making our home wheelchair accessible
- transportation
- home health aides
- ongoing treatments
Thank you all for keeping Michael and
the Kranis Family in your thoughts and prayers,
and for helping bring them hope.
