Central Park Triathlon August 21, 2005

It was a hot and humid Sunday morning on August 21, 2005, and Bob Sugarman was competing in the 18th Annual Central Park Triathlon in support of The Alan T Brown Foundation to Cure Paralysis (ATBF). The race consisted of a 1/4 mile swim, a 12 mile bike ride, and a 5 mile run, and Bob was seen by his cheering squad smiling throughout all three courses. His family, friends, and colleagues donated over $16,500 to show their support for him, and for ATBF. Working hard despite the weather conditions, Bob finished placing second in his age group — quite an accomplishment and an inspiration!
