Prospect Park, Brooklyn
Join us on May 7th in Prospect Park for the 4th Annual Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Awareness 5K Run Walk & Roll and help bring awareness to spinal cord injury and paralysis while you raise funds to support the programs and services provided to people with spinal cord injuries by our 5 organizing sponsors.
The race will begin and end approximately at Center Drive/The Nethermead, which is inside the park just past Bartel-Pritchard Square at the corner of Prospect Park West and 15th Street – toward the middle of the park. Runners will follow the park’s main loop drive, completing a 5 kilometer lap of the park, to finish at Center Drive/The Nethermead. There will be mile markers along the course. Water will be available at the half-way mark and at the finish. There will be bag drop on race day and of course, a post-race snack.
Fees: $25.00 through April 8th, $30.00 until April 30th. Race day registration will be $40 if the race has not already sold out.
Packet Pickup: Runners will also be able to pick up race packets on race day from 8:00-8:45 AM inside the park, at the festival area.
